Announcing Arctic Awakening
We've had a secret project in the works for over a year that has been torture to keep under wraps. It's a significant departure from anything we've done before, which is what has us so excited and energized creatively.
Arctic Awakening is an episodic narrative adventure set in the unforgiving Arctic. Your plane crashed in a storm, leaving only your AI drone for company as you journey to find your co-pilot and uncover the dark mysteries buried beneath the ice. The game will be coming to PC and Mac on Steam in 2022 with a game console release coming later.
What really sets this game apart is how we're structuring it. Many of today's story-rich games are huge experiences that are just too much for most people's busy lives. So, we wanted to create something more akin to a TV series that had easily consumable episodes of 1-2 hours in length. We'll be announcing the schedule as we get closer to launch, but you can expect a fixed monthly release across 5 episodes.
These are still early days (but don't worry, work on our other games continues as normal), and we're excited to share this journey with all of you.
